I’ve had the most surreal week. FUN. Yet surreal. One of the big highlights of the week (*) was being able to celebrate the start of Cask Ale Week with TV Presenter, Gardening Guru extraordinaire & Cask Ale lover, Alan Titchmarsh on the telly.

His ITV1 Daytime show is in the middle of yet another fabulous run and  - like a bolt from the blue – the team very kindly asked me to do a beer-tasting on air with him alongside  another celeb.

It was a very quick turnaround from being asked to going to ITV’s London Studios to do it. I was asked to suggest some breweries to feature on the slot. The research team also sourced their own beers. So do you wanna know who makes the final cut?  And who’s not to say I don’t end up on the cutting room floor and don’t appear at all….? Sometimes that happens with telly!

It’s be nuts to tell you everything before you see it, right? So I won’t. All I will say is breweries from London, Warwickshire, Essex & Kent make an appearance. Plus a stunningly gorgeous lady, who knows how to dance her socks off!

*The next best highlight about this week is my Hen Night this Saturday. Much cask ale will be quaffed, and my Hen Party will all be converted to cask ale drinkers by the end of the night, make no mistake
